As a Security Concierge, you’ll assist residents by providing information and services as needed. The role requires a self‑motivated, outgoing, detail‑oriented individual with strong communication and organizational skills.
Shift Schedule
Varying (two shifts per week minimum, additional encouraged)
Site Location
Shifts available in Toronto, Markham, Richmond Hill and Mississauga, ON
Compensation
$17.70 per hour
Your Responsibilities
- Identify and clarify residents’ needs, answer questions, and provide directions.
- Remain calm under pressure and act quickly.
- Manage and screen messages.
- Schedule access for authorized vendors.
- Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality.
- Update job knowledge through educational opportunities and maintain professional networks.
- Enhance the organization’s reputation by taking ownership of new requests and adding value.
- Ensure all safety and access‑control procedures are followed.
- Protect clients, residents, and property; assist with customer inquiries and direct as required.
- Observe floors, stairways, and access doors to ensure safety and identify deficiencies.
- Enforce client rules, municipal, provincial, and Canadian laws, and assist Police and Medical Staff when needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, contractors, and visitors.
- Perform routine property patrols and respond to emergencies and fire alarms.
- Document incidents, log occurrences, and use front‑desk software as required.
- Follow all on‑site procedures and company policies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security License.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of college courses in Business/Hospitality or Police/Security Foundations an asset.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to communicate effectively on phone and in person with clients.
Additional Considerations
Hours beyond normal office hours may occur, including evenings, holidays, and some weekends. Schedule is subject to change based on business needs.
