Solutions Architect

At Bond, technology leadership is central to our strategy. We are looking for a Solutions Architect to design enterprise-scale solutions, set technical direction, and deliver measurable results for both clients and internal teams.

This role is ideal for an experienced architecture leader who simplifies complexity, balances innovation with practical solutions, and earns trust across executive and engineering teams. As a Solutions Architect, you will serve as a key architectural authority at Bond, guiding solution strategy from early concept through successful delivery. You will work closely with business leaders, product owners, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and aligned with business objectives.

You will be expected to think beyond individual projects—contributing to long-term architecture direction, standards, and capability evolution across the organization. In this role, you will drive initiatives by providing technical expertise and counsel, ensuring delivery teams and business partners understand architectural options, and recommending solutions that consider total cost of ownership, risks, and the effective leverage of existing assets.

• Cloud and hybrid architectures (Azure preferred)
• AI architecture and model integration patterns
• Distributed, integration-heavy, API-centric systems
• Event-driven and service-oriented architectures
• Data architecture, analytics platforms, and AI integration patterns
• Enterprise security architecture (identity, access, data protection)
• Non-functional design at scale: performance, resilience, operability
• Integration patterns, DevOps and delivery architecture, and implementation best practices

Leadership & Influence

• Trusted advisor to senior technical and business stakeholders
• Strong facilitator of architectural decision-making and consensus
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and competing priorities
• Pragmatic and outcomes-driven, with strong judgment around architectural trade-offs, total cost of ownership, and business value

• Capable of designing extensible, reusable, and operationally excellent cloud solutions for complex migration, modernization, and innovation initiatives

• Azure Solution Architect certification is a strong asset

You have

• 10+ years of experience in Software Development
• 5+ years of Architecture experience
• Post-secondary education in computer science or an equivalent field
• Strong time management skills applied to successful solution delivery
• Nice to have experience as a Full-Stack Developer with .NET, C#, and MS SQL Server
• Experience in influencing senior business stakeholders

What You’ll Lead

In this role, you will serve as a hands‑on strategic architect with accountability for solution integrity, guiding multiple complex initiatives from early concept through delivery and adoption.

• Define and lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex, multi-domain initiatives
• Advise leaders and delivery teams on architectural options, trade-offs, and associated risks
• Ensure solutions align with business strategy, cost models, and long-term platform goals
• Establish and promote architecture standards, patterns, and governance practices
• Serve as an escalation point for complex technical and design challenges
• Mentor senior engineers and architects, raising the overall technical maturity of teams
• Champion modern platforms, tools, and methodologies—including cloud, data, and AI
• Contribute to architecture roadmaps and long-term strategic planning initiatives
• Occasionally engage hands-on to deliver proofs of concept or reference architectures

Job Benefits

Compensation: The expected base salary compensation for this role is $107,210.71 to $146,569.41 CAD annually.
