Job Title: Radiology Technologist (x 2 positions)
Status: Regular Part Time

Shift: 8‑hour shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends, on‑call schedule – subject to change)
Location: Lakeridge Health Oshawa & Bowmanville
Wage Schedule: $36.84 – $50.24 per hour

Responsibilities
The Technologist is responsible for producing radiographs and computed tomography images, storing and recording images to complete examinations requested by medical staff, assisting the Radiologist, ensuring patient comfort and safety, maintaining technical competence per College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario guidelines, rotating into other radiographic modalities, participating in training, and completing other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of a recognized Medical Radiation Sciences program
- Must have CMRITO license
- Demonstrated knowledge of all radiographic, fluoroscopic examinations, computed tomography techniques, pathology, and record‑keeping required to operate in the Diagnostic Imaging Department
- Proven ability to use varied X‑ray, CT, fluoroscopy, and ancillary equipment to provide high‑quality diagnostic images for the Radiologist
- Proven effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to assess requests and prioritize them to ensure excellent and prompt patient care
- Proven ability to adapt standard work procedures to emergency situations
- Must be able to work all shifts on short notice, take stand‑by call, and be on site within 30 minutes
- CAMRT membership preferred
- Must have a satisfactory performance record

Conditions of Employment
The terms and conditions of employment are governed by the Collective Agreement between Lakeridge Health and OPSEU Local 348. External applicants must provide a satisfactory Criminal Investigation Reference for the vulnerable sector dated within the past six months. New team members will be required to complete a pre‑employment health assessment as a condition of employment.
