As a Department Sales Manager of Clothing, you have a passion for sports and live an active lifestyle. Visual standards of apparel and footwear are your playground. What You’ll Do
- Show passion for sports and an active lifestyle.
- Maintain visual standards of apparel and footwear.
- Demonstrate a positive and engaged attitude when dealing with customers and employees, and coach and develop your team.
- Act as an ambassador and leader of the customer experience, developing relationships with customers and providing mentorship and coaching to your team.
- Coach and develop your department team by setting expectations, keeping open lines of communication, providing constructive feedback, and ongoing support.
- Build and manage a daily game and sales plan for the department.
- Create development plans for full-time staff, supporting and coaching them to improve any performance gaps.
- Communicate skills proven through effective huddles, meetings, and coaching sessions.
- Develop and maintain a positive work environment for staff.
What You Bring
- Business savvy – a customer‑focused mindset, able to plan, execute, and drive sales.
- Leadership – lead by example and have a passion for coaching, developing, and inspiring your team.
- Cultural and brand ambassador – love the work and take pride in our brand.
- Proven retail manager with passion for people, the industry, and driving an exceptional customer experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in a retail environment, preferably at a supervisory level.
- Proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service skills.
- Demonstrated interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting goods industry is an asset.

Our typical hiring range is between $42,000 and $56,250, subject to experience, job‑related knowledge, skills, competencies, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity, and other role‑specific requirements.
