Job Responsibilities
Responsible for leading our financial reporting and accountable for managing the revenue and costs across Canada.
Works closely across the organization and with senior leaders to support the development of strategic plans to deliver revenue, cost, and cash flow improvement.
Identify opportunities for streamlining financial processes and improving efficiency.
Support the implementation of new financial systems or tools to enhance reporting and analysis capabilities.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of financial processes with business objectives.
Stay updated on changes to financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry best practices.
Support senior management in strategic financial planning and decision‑making.
Assist in training and mentoring junior finance team members.
Manage business cycle & monthly financial reporting.
Own performance metrics, ensuring a direct link to financials; work with the business to understand gaps and develop projects to improve performance.
Manage the financial forecasting process; ensure consistency between performance metrics results and forecasted costs.
Analyze drivers and accuracy of Labatt’s financial statements across the balance sheet, cash flow statement, and/or income statement.
Ensure adherence to internal control policies and procedures to maintain the accuracy and reliability of financial statements.

Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required); professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) preferred. Thorough knowledge of Canadian GAAP & IFRS.
3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and financial controls.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Excel).
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with senior leadership; general knowledge of good planning and control practices.
Ability to simplify complex issues.
Capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
