Job description

Key Responsibilities:


  • Define and maintain supply management and inventory control parameters to achieve target service levels while minimizing inventory costs
  • Support SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) and Master Production Scheduling activities
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of key supply chain data including lead times, order quantities, and inventory policies
  • Manage demand versus resource balancing using tools and methodologies such as MRP and Kanban
  • Create, manage, and reschedule manufacturing and purchase orders to support production requirements
  • Monitor replenishment backlogs, shortages, and order fulfillment issues while implementing corrective actions to ensure material availability
  • Support Short Interval Management (SIM) processes in alignment with operational production systems
  • Participate in daily operational and manufacturing meetings to identify and resolve supply chain constraints
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to improve material flow, handling, and supply processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives


Qualifications


  • Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of supply chain, materials planning, inventory management, or manufacturing operations experience
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong understanding of:
  • MRP systems
  • Inventory management
  • Supply planning
  • Production scheduling
  • Kanban methodologies
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Access
  • Bilingual French and English communication skills preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and decision-making capabilities


Preferred Skills


  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing planning tools
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience supporting operational performance and supply chain optimization initiatives
