Senior Systems Service Specialist/Engineer

As a Senior Systems Service Specialist/Engineer, you will be the trusted technical expert on-site, supporting installation, commissioning, and ongoing service of complex automation systems.
You'll ensure reliable system performance while delivering a strong customer experience. What will you do: * Install, start up, and commission systems at customer sites * Troubleshoot and resolve issues across hardware, software, and networked systems * Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades * Develop upgrade plans and ensure systems are up to date * Lead testing activities, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) * Take technical ownership of projects, from specification through commissioning * Train customers on system operation and maintenance * Act as the main technical contact for customers and support sales when needed * Identify performance gaps and recommend improvements What qualifications will make you successful in this role? * Degree in Engineering or diploma in Engineering Technology or other related disciplines such as Computer Science or Process Control. * 5 + years of related experience, including industry knowledge * Minimum of 3+ years' hands on experience with Foxboro DCS. * Experience with HMI software, PLC's, DCS system and field instrumentation. * Experience with Triconex, Modicon and Wonderware systems (asset) * Strong collaboration and communication skills * Ability to travel over 60% in the BC region What's in it for you: The compensation range for this full-time position, which includes base pay and short-term incentive, is $81,600-$122,400.
Our salary ranges are determined by including roles of similar responsibility and level.
Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
