Job description
Shape impactful student events as the Lead Coordinator of Event Management at the University of Ottawa. This role focuses on planning, managing, and promoting events that strengthen community ties and support key initiatives.

The Lead Coordinator manages logistics for varied on- and off-campus events, fostering relationships with alumni and strategic partners. Candidates should possess a college diploma in marketing or relevant fields and five years of similar experience. Bilingualism in French and English at the Low Advanced proficiency level is required for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities: • Plan and design engaging campus events for various audiences • Manage all logistics, including rentals, registration, and catering • Supervise volunteers and ensure high service standards • Develop marketing strategies to maximize event participation • Conduct evaluations and report on event effectiveness

Requirements: • College diploma in relevant field with five years of experience • Bilingual proficiency in French and English • Strong organizational and project management skills • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities • Knowledge of budget management practices
