Job description
Exciting opportunity to work as a Biomedical Technologist with Scarborough Health Network at Centenary Hospital. This full-time role focuses on equipment maintenance and safety testing. In this position, you will report to the Director of Biomedical Engineering and will perform essential tasks such as installing, calibrating, and troubleshooting medical equipment. You will also ensure equipment is maintained according to safety standards and keep accurate records of all activities in our CMMS database. Your role is vital to supporting clinical care by ensuring the reliability of diagnostic tools. Key Responsibilities: • Perform initial inspections on medical equipment • Install and test equipment for optimal performance • Diagnose and repair equipment independently • Document all maintenance activities in systems • Manage medical supplies inventory effectively Requirements: • Diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology • At least five years of hospital experience • Comprehensive knowledge of medical devices • Strong problem-solving and communication skills • Commitment to high safety and service standards Your technical expertise is essential in advancing healthcare at Scarborough Health Network. #J-18808-Ljbffr
