Charter & Highway Coach Driver

Position Overview
Coach Canada is seeking professional and safety-focused Motorcoach Drivers to support both scheduled line-run services and charter operations. This role is critical to delivering reliable transportation across fixed routes while also providing customized travel experiences for charter clients, including corporate groups, tours, and special events. Drivers serve as front-line ambassadors of the organization, ensuring every journey is safe, efficient, and aligned with our service standards.

Charter & Highway Coach Driver | Key Responsibilities

    Safely operate motorcoaches (up to 45 feet) in all weather and traffic conditionsFollow assigned routes, schedules, and dispatch instructionsConduct pre-trip, and post-trip vehicle inspectionsProvide courteous, professional customer service to passengersAssist passengers with luggage and accessibility needs, including wheelchair securementAccurately complete driver logs, reports, and fare reconciliationCommunicate effectively with dispatch and operations teamsComply with all company policies, safety procedures, and transportation regulations

Charter & Highway Coach Driver | Qualifications

    Legally entitled to work in CanadaValid Ontario Class BZ licence with Z endorsementClean driver’s abstract and strong safety recordMinimum 2 years of commercial driving experience (motorcoach preferred)Ability to obtain and maintain MTO medical clearanceValid passport and eligibility for U.S. cross-border travelAbility to meet DOT/FMCSA requirementsFluent spoken and written English required to ensure safe communication with passengers, dispatch, and emergency servicesCustomer service experience an assetCompliance Requirements: This is a safety-sensitive position. All drivers are required to participate in and comply with applicable drug and alcohol testing programs, including pre-employment, random, post-incident, and reasonable cause testing as required under applicable regulations, including U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements for cross-border operations. Compliance with all testing protocols and reporting obligations is a condition of employment.

Charter & Highway Coach Driver | Physical & Scheduling Requirements

    Ability to lift luggage (30–50 lbs.) and meet physical demands of commercial drivingFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and variable shiftsAbility to support a 24/7/365 operation

Coach Canada recrute activement des conducteurs d’autocars qualifiés afin de répondre aux besoins opérationnels immédiats liés aux services réguliers (line runs) et aux services d’affrètement (charters). Les conducteurs d’autocars sont responsables de l’exploitation sécuritaire et professionnelle des autocars, tout en offrant un service à la clientèle exemplaire et en assurant le respect des normes de sécurité et des exigences réglementaires applicables.

Des dates d’entrée en fonction immédiates sont offertes dans certains établissements. Les candidats qualifiés pourront être contactés rapidement à mesure que des postes deviennent disponibles.

    Conduire des autocars (jusqu’à 45 pieds) de façon sécuritaire dans toutes les conditions météorologiques et de circulationRespecter les itinéraires assignés, les horaires et les directives de la répartitionEffectuer des inspections avant le départ, en cours de route et après le trajetOffrir un service à la clientèle courtois et professionnelAider les passagers avec les bagages et les besoins en matière d’accessibilité, y compris l’arrimage des fauteuils roulantsRemplir avec exactitude les journaux de bord, rapports et conciliations des recettesCommuniquer efficacement avec la répartition et les équipes des opérationsRespecter toutes les politiques de l’entreprise, les procédures de sécurité et les règlements en matière de transport

Conducteur(trice) d’autocar / d’autobus Qualifications

    Être légalement autorisé(e) à travailler au CanadaDétenir un permis de conduire de l’Ontario classe BZ valide avec la mention ZAvoir un dossier de conduite vierge ou démontrant un excellent dossier de sécuritéMinimum de deux (2) ans d’expérience en conduite commerciale (expérience en autocar un atout)Capacité d’obtenir et de maintenir une autorisation médicale valide du ministère des Transports de l’Ontario (MTO)Détenir un passeport valide et être admissible aux déplacements transfrontaliers vers les États-UnisCapacité de satisfaire aux exigences du DOT/FMCSAMaîtrise de l’anglais parlé et écrit requise afin d’assurer une communication sécuritaire avec les passagers, la répartition et les services d’urgenceExpérience en service à la clientèle considérée comme un atout

    Capacité de soulever des bagages (30 à 50 lb) et de répondre aux exigences physiques de la conduite commercialeDisponibilité flexible, incluant les soirs, fins de semaine, jours fériés et horaires variablesCapacité de soutenir une opération 24 h / 7 jours / 365 jours par année
