Applicants must possess a valid Nova Scotia Class 5 Driver’s License, a clean driver’s abstract, and have access to a reliable vehicle. A verified clear criminal record check is required for this position. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities and be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a maintenance team environment. Professional communication skills, including telephone etiquette, are essential, along with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends for emergency maintenance requests is required. Candidates should also demonstrate excellent time management, reliability, and communication skills. Basic computer skills are considered an asset, and previous experience in rental property maintenance is beneficial but not required.
