Principal Broker / Operations Leader
Commercial P&C Brokerage
Location: Vaughan, ON (Hybrid)

Our client is launching a specialized commercial insurance brokerage backed by a very large Canadian Corporation. While the brokerage is newly established, it already has a significant portfolio in place, generating strong recurring revenue from day one.
They are seeking a senior commercial insurance professional to help architect and grow the business: building operations, shaping strategy, developing market relationships, and helping create a premier construction-focused brokerage platform.
This is not a production role. It’s an opportunity to be part builder, part strategist, and part operational leader in a business with substantial long-term growth potential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Help build and scale a modern commercial brokerage platform
- Lead the development of operational structure, systems, workflows, and processes
- Provide technical leadership on complex construction and surety risks
- Partner with ownership on growth strategy, market expansion, and long-term business development
- Manage and grow key client and carrier relationships
- Play a foundational leadership role as the brokerage evolves nationally
What We’re Looking For
- Senior commercial P&C brokerage experience
- RIBO Level 3 / Principal Broker license preferred
- Strong technical expertise in commercial insurance and complex placements
- Construction, contracting, wrap-up, or surety experience is a major asset
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build, problem-solve, and lead in a growth environment
- Someone energized by creating structure, influencing strategy, and helping scale a business
