Job description
Take on a challenging role as an Intermediate Avionics Engineer with IMP Aerospace & Defence in Halifax. This position involves engineering support and lifecycle management for avionics systems.
Reporting to the Avionics Engineering Supervisor, you will conduct technical analyses and collaborate across departments to ensure compliance and airworthiness of aircraft systems. Your role will help optimize costs and enhance system performance, contributing significantly to the projects you lead.
Key Responsibilities: • Liaise with customers and management for avionics compliance • Conduct troubleshooting and technical investigations • Review and prepare Statements of Work • Assist in proposal and engineering report preparation • Provide project oversight and materials management
Requirements: • B. Eng or B. Sc. in Avionics/Electrical Engineering • Eligible for ENS registration • Familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus • Knowledge of military/commercial aircraft systems is a plus • Must pass security clearances for government projects
