Pay - CAD 100,000 - 110,000 Benefits - Healthcare and Paid time off Job Responsibilities • Act as the Point of Contact in AMER for one or more business lines regarding project requests • Serve as the primary Business Analyst within the AMER MAR (Global Markets) business unit, overseeing strategic projects • Analyze and understand business requirements, functions, and processes within securities processing (Equities and Fixed Income) • Drive both technical and non-technical solutions, evaluating tactical and strategic approaches and providing cost and timeline estimates • Coordinate solution workshops, oversee user testing phases, and obtain required sign-offs • Translate detailed business requirements into technical specifications for development teams and ensure accuracy • Collaborate with users to develop test plans, define acceptance criteria, and document testing results • Participate in the design of new architecture aligned with IS strategy • Collaborate with operations, front office, risk, finance, and external partners • Manage stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment Mandatory Requirements • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst • Experience in investment banking with securities and cash products (Equity and Fixed Income Settlement and Clearance) within a Technology team • Strong experience working with business stakeholders (front office, accounting, finance, risk) to gather and document requirements and deliver solutions • Experience working with development teams and strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile • Proficiency in SQL (query creation and analysis) • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering Nice to have • Experience coordinating projects across multiple time zones • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with leadership capabilities • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and disciplined approach to SDLC • Knowledge of XML and JSON • Experience with Power BI • Familiarity with Broadridge applications (BPS / IMPACT / FinancePraDLR) • Previous experience as a Project Manager in IT • Bilingual in English and French Language Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
