Senior Backend Developer (Java) / Software Architect Location: Montreal, QC Work Model: Hybrid About the Engagement This opportunity supports a large-scale digital transformation focused on building scalable, cloud-native applications and modernizing enterprise systems. The Opportunity We are looking for experienced Backend Developers and Software Architects to design and deliver high-performance, scalable solutions in a microservices-based environment. What You’ll Do Development & Architecture - Design and build backend services using Java and modern frameworks - Define and implement scalable system architectures - Develop APIs and integrate distributed systems Quality & Performance - Ensure application performance, reliability, and security - Apply best practices in coding, testing, and design Collaboration - Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders - Contribute to architecture decisions and technical leadership What You Need - Experience with Java, Spring Boot - Strong understanding of microservices architecture - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) - Experience in system design or solution architecture Accessibility & Accommodation We are committed to building an inclusive and accessible workplace.
