Job Summary: Our MIT – Manager in Training – Program is a 1-2 year fast-track program to advance your career path, preparing you to take on a branch management and/or strategic sales role within our organization. It’s an exciting time at Roofmart as we are opening the opportunity to a select few to join our class of MIT candidates. If selected, you will be part of a unique program offering advanced hands-on experience, training, and exposure to multiple leaders & best-in-class mentors across Canada Benefits - Health Insurance (includes Virtual Health, and HCSA) - Dental Insurance - Vision Insurance - Life Insurance - Long-term Disability - Short-term Disability - RRSP Match - Paid Vacation - Employee Assistance Program - Employee Engagement Events - Awards and Recognition - Tuition reimbursement - Service Awards - Employee Perks & Discounts Job Responsibilities Proficient across six Program Modules: - Branch Operations: shipping/receiving, logistics, and health and safety - Inside Sales: software and computer transaction, customer service, order taking, and walk-in customer assistance - Inventory Management and Logistics: dispatch and delivery scheduling, material ordering, cycle counts, and fleet maintenance - Product Knowledge: learning products and product vendor engagement - Customer Sales: sales administration, customer calling, relationship building, pricing, and credit - Human Resources and Management: people management and development, recruiting, financial performance and budgeting Qualifications - College Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business/Sales/Marketing/Management, strongly preferred - Geo flexibility in Canada - Willing to work hard and have a drive to succeed - Strong communication, problem solving, and customer-focused skills - Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment - Passion for learning - Authorized to work in Canada #LI-AB1
