Canada

we are looking for

Railway Test & Commissioning Engineers

to work on large-scale railway projects. Responsibilities

Manage Test & Commissioning activities across multiple railway subsystems (communications, SCADA, traction power, signaling, etc.) Coordinate on-site testing activities, including witnessing, reporting, and validation of test results Ensure compliance with commissioning procedures, technical requirements, and industry standards Act as the interface between clients, subcontractors, and engineering teams during T&C phases Identify, track, and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning Support system integration activities by ensuring consistency across subsystem interfaces Contribute to continuous improvement of commissioning processes and methodologies Depending on your experience, you will : Coordinate T&C activities for communications systems (CCTV, telecom, radio, fiber, fire alarm), ensuring proper execution and documentation OR Act as a SCADA T&C representative, ensuring alignment with overall commissioning strategy and interface coordination OR Provide hands‑on support for TPSS, including configuration, troubleshooting, and technical guidance during testing OR Lead system integration activities, ensuring coherent testing across subsystems (rolling stock, signaling, comms, OCS, TPSS, SCADA) Qualifications

At least a bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Systems, Telecommunications, or related field) Experience (5+) in Test & Commissioning, system integration, or field engineering activities Knowledge of railway systems and subsystem interfaces Strong understanding of testing processes, procedures, and validation methods Excellent coordination, problem‑solving, and communication skills Ability to work on‑site in Edmonton Preferred Experience (EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)

Railway communications systems (CCTV, telecom, fiber, radio) OR SCADA systems in an industrial or rail environment OR Traction power / TPSS systems configuration and testing OR Rail system integration across multiple subsystems
