Talent Acquisition Business Partner (12-Months Fixed Term Contract) The vacant Talent Acquisition Business Partner role will report to the Leader, Talent Acquisition. The candidate should be well‑versed in full‑cycle recruitment, talent attraction methodologies and have specific experience in the technology space. They should thrive as a hunter of talent, a connector, a proactive pipeline builder, and use technology & social platforms to deliver results.
You should be ready to execute on recruitment initiatives and sourcing strategies, incorporating our brand and core values, using analysis and data to build on and fine‑tune our recruitment process as you go. It’s your job to raise the bar with every hire, and your personal success and impact will come from knowing you are closely involved in doing just that when you look at the talented people around you.
Who You Will Work With The role will collaborate closely with management and key cross‑functional stakeholders to build and support recruitment strategies.
What You Will Do
Deliver results in talent attraction – hire the right people with the right skills and mindset when the business needs them.
Establish and maintain meaningful relationships with management and key cross‑functional stakeholders to build and support recruitment strategies.
Collaborate with teams to deeply understand their hiring needs for the short and long term.
Full life‑cycle recruitment: effectively source, screen, assess, interview, recommend candidates, offer negotiations, etc.
Build a pipeline of candidates through proactive efforts; LinkedIn Recruiter, Networking Events, and/or D&I Initiatives.
Represent Interac and our core values throughout the full life‑cycle recruitment, creating a positive experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
Partner with (and sometimes coaching) hiring managers to accurately evaluate candidates based on core competencies, job competencies and culture fit.
Build effective networks and relationships to maintain a strong pipeline of top talent for recurring and hard‑to‑fill roles in the technology space, including highlighting opportunistic/future strategic hires for Interac.
Stay up to date with market trends, recruitment and employment landscape within the FinTech industry.
Partner with external agencies/vendors when necessary.
What You Bring
A Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma or equivalent work experience.
5+ years proven experience doing full life‑cycle recruitment ideally in a corporate setting in various sectors (the technology sector being a huge asset).
Proven track record for successfully identifying, qualifying, and closing exceptional candidates.
Pride in being an ambassador of the organization, representing all that Interac values.
Curiousity and enthusiasm on being up to speed on recruitment trends and best practices.
Positivity energy and proven success in a constantly changing and fast‑paced environment.
Great communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships with peers and in general.
What We’re Offering The hiring range for this position is
$90,000
to
