Orano Canada Location: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Orano Canada has been exploring for uranium, developing mines and producing uranium concentrate for more than 60 years. Headquartered in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, we are a leading producer of uranium in Canada. The Orano-operated McClean Lake mill is a unique facility that allows for the processing of high-grade uranium ore without dilution. Orano Canada is a subsidiary of the French nuclear energy company Orano Group. Our presence in Canada began with uranium exploration in the 1960’s and the development of the Cluff Lake mine in the 1980’s and continued with mines and a mill at McClean Lake and partnerships in several other sites in the Athabasca Basin such as the Cigar Lake mine. Today, Orano employs about 450 people in Saskatchewan, with many employees and contractors from northern communities.

Vice President, Finance Orano Canada’s Vice President, Finance is a key member of the executive management team who is responsible for the finance activities for the company including partner relations. The Vice President, Finance portfolio also includes the management of the Information Systems and Technology function and the coordination of uranium sales transport.

Qualifications As the ideal candidate, you will bring extensive experience as a senior manager and/or executive in Finance or Accounting. You will have demonstrated a proven ability to turn strategy and analytics into business deliverables and actions. You should also possess extensive knowledge and experience in the use of descriptive, prescriptive and predictive analytics. You should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field; an MBA is an asset; a CPA designation is required. Knowledge of French and international experience is an asset.
