As a
Branch Manager
at QXO, you will lead all aspects of branch operations, driving performance across sales, service, and distribution. You’ll be responsible for building a high-performing team, delivering an exceptional customer experience, and achieving strong financial results. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is passionate about developing people, and is motivated to grow the business while strengthening QXO’s presence in the local market.
What you’ll do Operations Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the branch and distribution centre, ensuring efficiency, safety, and profitability. Optimize processes to improve productivity, inventory management, and overall operational performance.
Sales & Customer Experience Drive profitable sales growth by delivering exceptional customer service. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners while identifying opportunities to expand market share and enhance the customer experience.
People Leadership Recruit, develop, and lead a high‑performing team. Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet business demands while fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Financial Performance Achieve branch profitability targets by driving revenue growth, improving margins, and maintaining disciplined expense control. Monitor financial performance and take proactive steps to meet or exceed business objectives.
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3–5 years of relevant industry experience, with a minimum of 7 years in a leadership or supervisory role
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams in a fast‑paced environment
Strong financial acumen, including the ability to interpret financial statements and manage budgets effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports and business correspondence
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (DBS experience considered an asset)
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required
