Welder - Paid Relocation

Tasks

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and welding procedures.
• Cutting materials and completing assemblies according to fabrication drawings.
• Performing welding work in compliance with CWB certification standards (all 4 positions).
• Carrying out various welding-related tasks based on the needs of ongoing projects.
• Actively contributing to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices on site.

Job requirements

• Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in Welding and Fitting or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in piping and FCAW welding.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and the use of jigs and fixtures.
• CWB certification card is considered an asset.
• Experience in a shipyard environment is a strong asset.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and outdoors.
