Job description
Become a Campus Ambassador with Friendlier at Durham College, focused on raising sustainability awareness through creative student engagement initiatives. This part-time volunteer role offers a unique opportunity for eco-conscious students. As a Campus Ambassador, you will lead efforts to educate your peers about the Friendlier reusable packaging program and its benefits. Your work will involve organizing events, creating engaging social media content, and enhancing community involvement through sustainable practices. Dedicate 2–3 hours per week throughout the academic year to make a difference on campus. Key Responsibilities: • Manage monthly outreach booths to inform students • Develop social media strategies that promote reuse habits • Plan and host events centered around sustainability • Collaborate with student groups for broader impact • Analyze feedback to optimize program engagement Requirements: • Enrolled as a current post-secondary student • Demonstrated passion for sustainability and environmental initiatives • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Experience in leadership or community engagement • Proficiency in social media content creation preferred Help foster an environmentally-conscious campus culture as a Campus Ambassador with Friendlier at Durham College. #J-18808-Ljbffr
