Job description

Become the Grants & Strategic Funding Advisor for the Town of Cochrane, focusing on securing external funding and offering high-level strategic analysis to guide community initiatives. This position is ideal for a collaborative leader. Cochrane is searching for an advisor to navigate the grant development process and build intergovernmental relationships. The role is centered on developing a strategic framework to enhance the municipality's financial feasibility and growth. Candidates should be adept in environmental scanning and creating compelling business cases. Key Responsibilities: • Direct the entire grant process from intake to compliance • Analyze funding options to propose to leadership • Strengthen partnerships with funding agencies and stakeholders • Research legislative impacts on funding opportunities • Aid departments with grant compliance and reporting Requirements: • Degree in Public Administration, Business, or related area • 3–5 years in grant writing or funding strategy • Strong skills in persuasive writing and presentations • Ability to translate governmental policies into practice • Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License required Drive Cochrane’s strategic funding efforts to secure essential resources for community development. #J-18808-Ljbffr
