In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating project execution, managing stakeholders, monitoring performance, and ensuring construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives. - Salary: Up to $95.00 per hour - Location: Kitimat, BC - Schedule: Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week - Employment Type: Full-time | Temporary - Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy. Responsibilities - Oversee the planning and delivery of construction projects from initiation to completion - Ensure projects are executed in accordance with approved scope, schedule, and budget - Manage contracts, resources, project changes, risks, and overall delivery performance - Develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans throughout the project lifecycle - Monitor and report on key project performance indicators to ensure alignment with business requirements - Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and project partners - Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, estimate, and deliver project requirements - Resolve project delivery issues and risks in a timely and effective manner - Support vendor and consultant sourcing as required - Identify and implement continuous improvements to project delivery methods - Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards at all times Qualifications - Must be eligible to work and reside within Canada - Minimum 10+ years of construction supervision experience in a heavy industrial environment - Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor in large-scale industrial projects - Trade certification or post-secondary education in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines is considered an asset - Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical specifications - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to manage on-site challenges effectively - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project) - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment - Strong analytical and reporting skills, particularly related to scheduling and performance tracking Why Apply - Opportunity to work on large-scale heavy industrial projects in a critical leadership role - Competitive hourly compensation - Hands-on role with significant project impact and visibility - Work within a highly technical and fast-paced construction environment - Exposure to complex project delivery and stakeholder management Interested in this position?
