Lumenus Community Services is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Community Counselling and Intensive Programs within the Youth Division.
The successful candidate will provide counselling/psychotherapy/family therapy and service coordination to youth across Brief Services, Community Counselling, and Intensive Milieu Programs. This role supports a wide range of mental health concerns, including emotional, behavioural, and psychiatric symptoms that affect functioning at home, school, socially, or in the community. Situational challenges may include family conflict, bullying, trauma, substance use, and difficulties related to psychiatric diagnoses. Therapeutic support is evidence-based, youth-centered, and responsive to the diverse needs of clients and their families.
Experience with and/or lived experience of oppression, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and/or personal connections to queer or trans communities of colour, including newcomer and disability communities, is considered an asset.
