Job description

What is the opportunity?

We are a firm that does things a little differently. This is your opportunity to join our high-caliber, experienced group of professionals on a mission to re-imagine the future by changing the way that transportation infrastructure is conceived and constructed.

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our growing Transportation team in Vancouver, Calgary, and Edmonton. You will lead the delivery of large-scale transit and infrastructure projects for clients, spanning a range of procurement models and often position Entuitive as the prime consultant leading multidisciplinary teams.

The role also offers the opportunity to lead major project pursuits and manage client growth with the same focus and accountability brought to successful project delivery. It’s an ideal fit for someone who values both project leadership and building long-term, trusted client relationships.

We are passionate about our work and the talented individuals that get to deliver complex projects on a regular basis.

What will you do?

Project Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with public- and private-sector Transportation clients, including municipalities, transit agencies, contractors, consultants, and developers.
  • Lead the planning and execution of Transportation projects, ensuring delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and quality across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Oversee design coordination, technical reviews, and construction-phase services to ensure constructability, compliance, and value.
  • Support early-stage planning that includes estimating, quantity takeoffs, construction sequencing, and bid evaluation.
  • Review project documentation for safety, code compliance, constructability, and value.
  • Drive commercial performance, including risk management, fee management, invoicing, and change control, in coordination with commercial and finance leads..

Business Development and Client Relations

  • Manage long-term client relationships and portfolio growth plans, identifying new opportunities and ensuring continuity from project to project.
  • Lead major project pursuits in the Transportation sector, coordinating strategy, resources, and team input to position Entuitive effectively with public- and private-sector clients.
  • Collaborate with Pursuit Leads, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and the Proposal & Marketing team to shape pursuit strategies and deliver high-quality, persuasive submissions.
  • Ensure that both pursuits and client growth efforts are executed with the same discipline, clarity, and follow-through applied to successful project delivery.
  • Partner with internal teams across sectors to support pipeline development, cross-discipline collaboration, and integrated service delivery.
  • Represent Entuitive in client meetings, industry events, and conferences to strengthen our market presence and reinforce our role as a trusted partner.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, preferably Civil Engineering with a specialization in structural.
  • Licensed professional engineer in the Province of Ontario, Alberta, or British Columbia is an asset, but not a requirement.
  • 10+ years minimum related experience in managing transportation projects or in heavy civil construction.
  • PMP certification would be an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work with people at all levels including project stakeholders and clients.
  • The ability to effectively work remotely with teams of people who may not be at your location.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities on an ongoing basis.
  • Effective decision-making skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Available for occasional travel to other Entuitive offices in Canada.
