Job description
At Ripple, we’re building a world where value moves like information does today. It’s big, it’s bold, and we’re already doing it. Through our crypto solutions for financial institutions, businesses, governments and developers, we are improving the global financial system and creating greater economic fairness and opportunity for more people, in more places around the world. And we get to do the best work of our career and grow our skills surrounded by colleagues who have our backs.

If you’re ready to see your impact and unlock incredible career growth opportunities, join us, and build real world value.

We’re looking for a collaborative, driven, and diligent Network and Strategic Partner Onboarding Specialist. As an Onboarding Specialist, you will coordinate documentation logistics and provide ongoing Due Diligence/KYC support for our financial institutional partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of institutional onboarding processes, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering confidential information efficiently and accurately.

Reporting into the Director of Network and Strategic Partner Onboarding, the role will be a frontline point of contact with our Network Financial Partners, Business Development, Sales and Customer Success teams, and liaising with multiple internal key collaborators such as Compliance, Legal, and Finance, to facilitate efficient onboarding onto various financial institutional partners. Communications and day-to-day interactions with a broad-based audience require excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, due to the need for high accuracy and compliance with reporting and regulatory matters, a professional with attention to detail and a high degree of process focus is required.

What you’ll do

Manage the end-to-end counterparty onboarding lifecycle from initial request to go‑live, including Jira ticket creation and tracking, user access provisioning, and handoff coordination with Operational teams.

Coordinate the update and/or remediation of DDQ/KYC for Ripple Entity profiles as a consequence of material changes.

Participate in testing and validation of data integrity in various applications such as Salesforce, Treasury Management Systems, and Reporting.

Lead or support infrastructure‑building projects including Salesforce workflow design, Confluence documentation, Safebase knowledge base development, and AI‑assisted tooling (e.g., Claude).

Ensure weekly reports and meeting agendas are generated and distributed timely.

Engage with both internal and external collaborators to support the onboarding process.

Run weekly/monthly reports and maintain reporting/documentation repositories.

Support periodic KYC Refresh reviews for existing counterparties and customers, ensuring documentation remains current and compliant; manage and track user access across Ripple’s systems.

Facilitate the documentation needs of the Business by coordinating notary/apostilled, translations, and wet ink/Docusign signatures with internal authorized signatories.

Coordinate ambitious deliverables, ensuring timely communication, and serve as a point of escalation for onboarding concerns.

Perform administrative tasks, including scanning documents and filing requirements.

What you’ll bring

1–2 years of relevant Institutional Onboarding experience with multinational corporations or financial institutions.

Outstanding organizational and communication skills with an ability to drive multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and diligently.

Thrive in a fast‑paced environment, willing to chart new paths, and agile to changing priorities.

Comfortable with ambiguity and able to adjust between competing priorities.

Advanced proficiency in Excel, Lucid Charts, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace products; experience with other analytical tools preferred.

Experience with tools such as Confluence and Jira, in an operational context.

Curiosity and hands‑on experience with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Gemini, Safebase, Inventive); ability to identify and propose opportunities to incorporate AI into operational workflows.

Familiarity with KYC/AML compliance frameworks and cross‑border payments or digital assets is a plus.

Strong teammate who champions a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement through technology.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent professional experience also considered.

Who we are

The opportunity to build in a fast‑paced start‑up environment with experienced industry leaders.

A learning environment where you can dive deep into the latest technologies and make an impact. A professional development budget to support other modes of learning.

Thrive in an environment where no matter what race, ethnicity, gender, origin, or culture you identify with, every employee is a respected, valued, and empowered part of the team.

In‑office collaboration for moments that matter is important to our culture, and we give managers and teams the flexibility to decide which 10+ days a month they come in.

Bi‑weekly all‑company meeting – business updates and ask‑me‑anything style discussion with our Leadership Team.

We come together for moments that matter which include team off‑sites, team bonding activities, happy hours and more!

Take Control of Your Finances

Competitive salary, bonuses, and equity.

Competitive benefits that cover physical and mental healthcare, retirement, family formation, and family support.

Employee giving match.

Mobile phone stipend.

Take Care of Yourself

R&R days so you can rest and recharge.

Generous wellness reimbursement and weekly onsite & virtual programming.

Generous vacation policy – work with your manager to take time off when you need it.

Industry‑leading parental leave policies. Family planning benefits.

Catered lunches, fully‑stocked kitchens with premium snacks/beverages, and plenty of fun events.

Benefits listed above are for full‑time employees.
