Job descriptionPosition Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support a nuclear project in Canada. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project controls activities. The ideal candidate will have experience working on large, complex projects in the nuclear, power, energy, or other highly regulated sectors and will be comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams in a structured project environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and update detailed integrated project schedules. Coordinate schedule inputs with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project controls teams Track progress against baselines, milestones, and critical path activities Analyze schedule performance and support forecasting, recovery planning, and what-if scenario analysis Support project controls activities including resource loading, progress measurement, schedule performance analysis, and reporting Monitor and report on key project performance indicators such as SPI (Schedule Performance Index) and CPI (Cost Performance Index) in coordination with the broader project controls team Support change management, schedule updates, and baseline revisions Prepare regular schedule reports and communicate schedule risks, delays, and mitigation plans to project stakeholders Ensure scheduling practices align with project controls standards, contractual requirements, and the expectations of a highly regulated Canadian nuclear environment Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience Experience as a Project Scheduler on large capital projects Experience in nuclear projects in Canada strongly preferred; experience in power generation, utilities, infrastructure, or other regulated industries will also be considered Strong proficiency with Primavera P6; experience with Microsoft Project is an asset Demonstrated knowledge of: Critical path method scheduling Resource loading Schedule forecasting and progress measurement SPI / CPI tracking and interpretation Integrated project controls and performance reporting Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders Must be eligible to obtain and maintain required Canadian security clearance, or already hold applicable clearance Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting Canadian nuclear new build, refurbishment, modification, or decommissioning projects Familiarity with EPC/EPCM project delivery models Professional certifications such as PMP, PSP, or AACE credentials are an asset Experience with earned value management is an asset
