Job Summary GDI Ainsworth is seeking a highly analytical Preventative Maintenance & Contract Quotation Specialist to lead pricing and quotation activities for preventative maintenance contracts, renewals, amendments, and capital planning initiatives. This role develops accurate and profitable pricing strategies, builds standardized pricing frameworks, and performs detailed data analysis to support margin discipline and operational alignment. The Specialist partners closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, and other teams to ensure pricing accuracy, contract performance, and strong commercial governance across national and strategic client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate, timely, and commercially sound quotations for preventative maintenance contracts and client capital planning initiatives, including scope of work, service frequencies, SLAs, labor models, parts and consumables, travel, exclusions, escalation assumptions, and commercial terms.
Own the PM contract renewal lifecycle end-to-end, including renewal pipeline tracking, commercial strategy development, pricing updates, proposal creation, internal approvals, redline coordination, and contract execution.
Support pricing for large national, multi‑site, and multi‑region client portfolios.
Develop and maintain standardized pricing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
Conduct profitability modeling, quoted‑vs‑actuals analysis, and margin‑leakage reviews.
Design, implement, and maintain a standardized pricing framework for PM contracts and capital planning initiatives that drives consistency, efficiency, and scalability across pricing exercises.
Provide data‑driven insights to improve pricing accuracy and contract performance.
Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Customer Success.
Develop pricing playbooks, calculators, and templates that expedite quotation turnaround times while maintaining margin integrity and risk discipline.
Maintain accurate commercial documentation and ensure CRM/CPQ governance.
Improve pricing workflows, tools, and approval processes.
Deliver KPI reporting and executive‑ready insights.
Qualifications
4–7+ years of experience in pricing, contract quotation, commercial operations, or financial analysis.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all organizational levels.
Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proven ability to manage a high volume of complex, concurrent initiatives with strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize work based on customer impact, financial outcomes, and strategic importance.
Demonstrated experience supporting major accounts with multi-site and multi-region scope.
Strong financial and analytical skills, including profitability modeling, sensitivity analysis, and scenario planning.
Advanced proficiency with CRM/CPQ platforms (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics, SAP/Oracle CPQ, DealHub) and Excel/Sheets.
Solid understanding of contract structures, SLAs, escalators, and risk allocation.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills for executive-level proposals and summaries.
Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and IT.
Background in preventative maintenance programs, asset lifecycle management, and service delivery models strongly preferred.
Technical or field operations experience considered a strong asset.
Salary Salary range is $55,000 to $80,000 per year. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as alignment with market data. The base salary is just one component of Ainsworth’s total compensation package, which also includes additional rewards and benefits such as short-term incentives and health insurance.
