We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dry Bulk Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and play a key role in coordinating daily operations. About the Role As a Dry Bulk Logistics Coordinator, you will be at the center of our operation. You will plan and coordinate weekly loads, manage schedules, and respond to the day-to-day demands of grain and fertilizer hauling across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Montana, and North Dakota. This role requires someone who understands the pace of the trucking industry, can think ahead, adapt quickly, and communicate effectively with both drivers and customers. Key Responsibilities - Plan, coordinate, and schedule loads on a weekly and daily basis - Dispatch drivers and provide clear, timely communication on routes, expectations, and changes - Optimize routes and equipment utilization to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime - Monitor load progress and proactively address delays, weather impacts, or operational challenges - Maintain strong working relationships with drivers, customers, and internal teams - Ensure all loads are executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements - Track and update load information, documentation, and scheduling systems - Support continuous improvement in dispatch and planning processes What You Bring - 5 to 7 years of experience in the trucking, transportation, or logistics industry - Direct experience in dispatching, load planning, or fleet coordination - Strong understanding of Western Canadian geography, including Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, along with cross-border familiarity in Montana and North Dakota - Experience in grain and/or fertilizer hauling is considered a strong asset - Ability to manage multiple moving pieces in a busy, high-demand environment - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure - Clear and professional communication skills - High level of organization, attention to detail, and accountability What Success Looks Like - Loads are planned efficiently with minimal gaps or delays - Drivers feel supported, informed, and set up for success - Customers experience reliable, consistent service - Challenges are anticipated and addressed before they become issues - Operations run smoothly, especially during peak seasons Why This Role Matters This role is critical to maintaining the flow of operations in a busy commodities hauling environment.
