Job description
George Higginson is currently partnering with a world-leading, global Clinical Research Organisation to recruit an experienced Clinical Research Associate (CRA), with a strong focus on Oncology. Operating at the forefront of clinical development, this organisation supports pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies in bringing life-changing therapies to market. You’ll play a key role in delivering complex, global clinical trials, ensuring studies are executed to the highest standards of quality and compliance. This is a field-based, high-impact position offering strong autonomy, exposure to cutting-edge studies, and the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of sponsors. The incumbent will take ownership of site monitoring activities across multiple studies, acting as a key point of contact between sponsors and investigative sites. You’ll operate in a highly independent, stakeholder-facing position, ensuring clinical trials are conducted efficiently, compliantly, and in line with protocol. Responsibilities: - Monitoring clinical trial sites (on-site and remote) across the full study lifecycle - Ensuring compliance with protocols, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements - Conducting site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits - Supporting site selection and feasibility assessments - Maintaining accurate and timely documentation and reporting - Building strong relationships with investigators and site staff - Identifying and mitigating risks to study timelines and data quality - Supporting audit and inspection readiness Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field - 3+ years of CRA / clinical monitoring experience (Senior level) - Oncology monitoring experience strongly preferred - Strong knowledge of ICH-GCP and clinical trial regulations - Able to travel up to 70% - Confident communicator with strong site management skills - Able to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment Why this opportunity?
