Job descriptionA growing Vancouver-based corporate services organization is seeking a Securities Paralegal or Corporate Secretary to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is looking to support public and private companies in corporate, securities, regulatory, and compliance matters while working closely with senior leadership in a hands-on role. Key responsibilities include: - Providing support to the CEO and President - Liaising with legal counsel, clients, issuers, investors, transfer agents, and regulatory agencies - Preparing and filing securities and corporate documents on SEDAR+ and SEDI - Assisting with exchange filings under CSE, TSX Venture, and Cboe Canada policies - Drafting and coordinating board materials, AGM materials, corporate resolutions, treasury orders, and private placement documentation - Maintaining minute books, corporate records, and share capital tables - Administering stock options, RSUs, and other equity incentive grants - Supporting securities compliance, regulatory obligations, and continuous disclosure requirements - Assisting with audits, year-end, and quarterly financial requests The ideal candidate will have: - 3–5+ years of experience as a Securities Paralegal, Corporate Secretary, or Corporate Legal Assistant - Experience within an in-house, corporate services, or law firm environment - Knowledge of SEDAR+, SEDI, BC Online, and securities regulatory compliance - Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail - The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment Compensation: - Salary range: $70,000 – $90,000 depending on experience - 3 weeks vacation - Extended health and dental benefits after 3 months - Full-time, fully in-office position If this sounds like you or for more information, please apply today!
