Job description
Position Summary We are seeking Administrative Clerks to support operations within a fast-paced long-term care environment. The successful candidates will provide clerical support, assist with staffing coordination, maintain organized filing systems, and support supply management to ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities - Provide clerical support including: - Doctor’s lists - Shower lists - Incontinence lists - Additional administrative duties as assigned - Order and maintain general supplies, including: - Incontinence products - Wound care products - Maintain organized and up-to-date filing systems - Issue petty cash slips to staff as required - Assemble and maintain manuals and documentation - Support staffing coordination - Record and prepare meeting minutes Qualifications - Experience working in long-term care - Experience with staffing coordination - Understanding of unionized environments and collective agreements - Strong written and verbal English communication skills - Proficiency with: - Microsoft Word - Excel - Outlook - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred Skills - Healthcare administrative experience - Experience supporting nursing teams or clinical operations - Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
