Your Opportunity
Based in our Longueuil office as a Commissioning Agent, you will be responsible for executing the commissioning process, managing commissioning documentation, and performing on-site functional testing.
Your responsibilities
Conduct technical investigations and review design documents for operations and maintenance (plans and specifications issued by various project stakeholders);
Perform design reviews from an operational perspective;
Define commissioning requirements (commissioning specifications);
Lead commissioning meetings with contractors;
Assist with system start-ups;
Inspect mechanical and electrical installations and systems;
Validate installation and operating sequences with the controls contractor;
Supervise and validate balancing operations;
Prepare commissioning reports and document the process;
Perform remote monitoring using a control platform;
Establish and maintain relationships with clients, and respond to their needs throughout the project;
Prepare and carry out functional testing with contractors.

Your Background
College diploma (DEC) in building mechanics or equivalent experience;
More than 5 years of experience in commissioning (controls, balancing, commissioning agent);
Knowledge of functional testing and sequence validation (heating, ventilation, air conditioning);
Knowledge of building design (mechanical and electrical);
Knowledge of building automation systems;
Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems;
Expertise in pre-operational verifications (POV) and start-up of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems;
Skills in project management and technical writing;
