The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Family Law Clerk to support our family law practice. In this role, you will work closely with lawyers to manage files, draft legal documents, and ensure matters progress efficiently from intake through resolution. Key Responsibilities - Draft and prepare family law documents including pleadings, affidavits, financial statements, conference briefs, and minutes of settlement - Manage and organize client files from opening to closing - Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties - Prepare court materials and ensure compliance with filing deadlines and Family Law Rules - Support lawyers with case strategy, scheduling, and document management - Maintain accurate records and assist with disclosure and financial documentation Qualifications - Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Family Law Clerk in Ontario - Strong knowledge of Ontario Family Law Rules and court procedures - Proficiency with legal software (e.g., Clio, DivorceMate, document management systems, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace) - Excellent drafting, proofreading, and organizational skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines - Strong interpersonal and client service skills What We Offer - Competitive salary (commensurate with experience) - Extended health and dental benefits - Hybrid work environment - Supportive and collaborative team culture - Opportunities for professional growth and development Why Join Us?
