THE OPPORTUNITY Looking to start a meaningful career where you can focus on building relationships, learn valuable insurance business skills, and grow into a sales role? Westminster Mutual is looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR). This role is ideal for those new to the insurance industry who are eager to build strong customer relationships while learning the foundations of insurance and sales. This is more than a customer service role, it is a launchpad into a fulfilling career as an Insurance Agent within the Ontario Mutuals. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING - Building strong relationships with policyholders by providing friendly, reliable, and professional service - Acting as the first point of contact for policyholder questions about policies, billing, and claims - Organizing and maintaining policyholder information and communications in detailed files - Supporting the Sales Agent with administrative support throughout the sales cycle - Participating in training and development activities related to insurance products, systems, and sales practices - Observing and supporting Sales Agents to gain exposure to sales conversations and policyholder advisory practices WHAT YOU’LL BRING - Secondary school diploma, post-secondary education in Insurance, Communications, or Business an asset - Previous customer service experience, an asset - Ability and willingness to obtain CIP designation and OTL License - Familiarity with MS Office – Word, Excel, Outlook - Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills - Organized and detail oriented, with a self-starter attitude - Curious, coachable, and eager to learn - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities WHAT WE OFFER - A friendly, community-oriented workplace - Comprehensive benefits - Full time ‘in-office’ opportunity - Hands on training and mentorship from experienced Sales Agents - Competitive Defined Contribution Pension Plan - Opportunity for variety and growth - Great work-life balance - A clear path to move into a Sales Agent role as you develop JOIN OUR TEAM!
