Job description
Our client in Markham, ON is seeking a Senior Director, Client Services to lead and scale a high-performing client management function within a fast-paced organization operating in the CPG, distribution, and supply chain space. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing client services operations, managing a team of senior leaders, and driving profitability across a complex client portfolio. You will play a key role in shaping client strategy, strengthening relationships, and aligning cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional service and long-term growth. Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Client Services Directors and Managers - Own and manage client portfolio performance, including profitability, service delivery, and long-term growth - Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor across key accounts - Provide strategic guidance on pricing, renewals, and contract negotiations - Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to drive alignment and execution - Oversee P&L performance, ensuring financial targets are met and opportunities for improvement are identified - Lead business reviews, forecasting, and financial reporting across the client services function - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction - Support organizational planning, hiring, and team development across the function Requirements: - 12+ years of progressive experience in client services, account management, or operations leadership - Proven experience managing leaders (Directors/Managers) and building high-performing teams - Strong P&L ownership and financial acumen, including forecasting and margin management - Experience in CPG, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred - Demonstrated ability to manage complex client portfolios and executive-level relationships - Excellent communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to drive decisions through data - Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Sage X3 or similar) is an asset - Exposure to U.S. operations or multi-location environments is a plus If you are interested in this role please apply now!
