About The Opportunity This position is ideal for a seasoned Legal Assistant with commercial litigation experience who is looking to contribute to a high-performing team. About The Position Reporting to lawyers within the litigation group, the Legal Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support. Responsibilities include drafting and formatting legal documents, managing electronic files and document systems, coordinating correspondence, and maintaining organized file structures. The role also involves filing court documents, preparing materials for hearings, liaising with internal departments such as billing, and handling general administrative duties. The position requires strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities efficiently. The Requirements - 5+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably within litigation - Completion of a Legal Administrative Assistant program or equivalent experience - Strong knowledge of Supreme Court of British Columbia rules and procedures - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with tools such as SAP, MS Teams, Chrome River, and iManage is an asset - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks - Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams - Exceptional attention to detail with strong spelling and grammar skills Compensation - Salary range: $60,000 – $75,000, based on experience and qualifications - Comprehensive benefits package - Retirement savings plan with employer contributions - Hybrid work environment - Flexible health and wellness allowance - Ongoing training and professional development opportunities At Aplin — together with our brands CompuStaff, Impact Recruitment, and Vantix Systems — we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
