Why This Role Is Different - You’re managing processes, projects, and priorities - You’ll have real autonomy to plan, execute, and improve how things are done - You’ll work closely with senior leadership and be trusted to lead your portfolio - You’ll help shape how the organization shows up, communicates, and engages with its members. - You'll get the opportunity to support club management professionals across the country What You’ll Own Marketing & Member Communications (Your Core Focus) - Drive proactive, thoughtful marketing and communication strategies - Ensure the brand shows up consistently and professionally across email, social, web, and publications - Treat social media as a strategic communication tool, supported by third-party vendors - Build authentic member relationships—remembering milestones, following up, and creating moments of connection - Support member recruitment and awareness-building initiatives - Bring a hospitality-first mindset—members should always feel known, supported, and valued - Use modern tools (including AI) to work smarter and stay current Project Management (Absolutely Essential) - Manage multiple projects at once, often running in parallel - Track timelines, dependencies, and deliverables with precision - Coordinate internal contributors and external partners - Keep projects moving without constant follow-ups from leadership Marketing Project Leadership You’ll oversee (not execute alone) several major initiatives each year, including: - Annual report - Member surveys & compensation surveys - Quarterly magazine (4 issues/year) - Industry insights and communications that drive engagement Who You Are - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive - Comfortable managing up and across—not waiting for direction - Confident balancing competing priorities - Service-driven: members come first, always - Energized by ownership, variety, and responsibility Experience in clubs, hospitality, associations, non-profits, or startups is a strong asset—especially if you understand what high-touch service really means.
