Bilingual Operations Manager Introduction Our client is seeking a dynamic Bilingual Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential properties and deliver exceptional operational performance. This is an existing vacancy with immediate availability. The role is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys leading teams, optimizing property performance, and delivering excellent resident experiences. You will play a key role in managing property operations, financial performance, staff development, and resident satisfaction across multiple sites. This position is primarily on site across a portfolio of residential communities and offers strong career development opportunities within property operations leadership. Compensation: $85,000 to $100,000 annually, plus performance bonus potential. Schedule: Monday to Friday, typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Work arrangement: On site across assigned properties. What You’ll Do As Operations Manager, you will oversee daily property operations while developing strategies to enhance asset value, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiency. You will lead site teams, manage financial performance, and collaborate with internal departments to ensure the successful operation of each property within your portfolio. This role offers strong exposure to operational leadership, portfolio strategy, capital projects, and team development. Responsibilities Operational Management • Oversee day to day operations across a portfolio of residential properties • Approve leases and oversee tenant file compliance • Monitor rent collections and support accounts receivable follow up • Manage vacancy strategies and renewal processes • Ensure timely completion of maintenance work orders • Conduct regular site visits and unit inspections for quality control • Identify operational risks and take appropriate action to mitigate liability • Approve requisitions and ensure purchasing policies are followed Financial Oversight • Manage operating budgets and contribute to annual capital planning • Submit project proposals for inclusion in capital budgets • Review financial reports and address performance variances • Ensure contracts and vendor work are implemented according to approved scope Resident Relations • Maintain a high level of resident satisfaction and respond to inquiries • Host resident engagement initiatives such as appreciation events and meetings • Attend tenant association meetings and address community concerns • Meet with residents when necessary to resolve issues and maintain a positive community environment Leadership and Team Development • Hire, train, coach, and mentor site staff • Conduct performance reviews and support employee development plans • Manage scheduling, payroll approvals, and vacation coordination • Address employee relations matters and resolve workplace conflicts Compliance, Legal, and Safety • Prepare documentation and attend housing related hearings when required • Ensure all property documentation, certifications, and compliance records remain current • Monitor life safety programs and conduct emergency preparedness drills • Respond to property emergencies when required Project Coordination • Support capital and operational projects including structural repairs, equipment upgrades, and common area improvements • Assist with operational integration of newly acquired properties into portfolio standards Marketing and Revenue Optimization • Work with marketing teams on advertising strategies and market analysis • Evaluate pricing opportunities and recommend strategies to maximize rental revenue • Implement strategies to improve occupancy for less marketable units Qualifications • University or college degree, or equivalent professional experience • Approximately three or more years of property management experience • Demonstrated experience supervising and developing teams • Strong financial literacy with the ability to interpret financial reports and budgets • Excellent organizational and problem solving abilities • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively • Strong leadership presence and customer service mindset • Proficiency with standard business and property management software Benefits • Competitive salary of $85,000 to $100,000 • Annual performance bonus up to approximately 10 percent • $8,000 annual car allowance • Three weeks of paid vacation • Comprehensive health and benefits program after three months • Opportunities for professional development and leadership growth • Exposure to large scale portfolio operations and capital improvement projects Why Work with Us This opportunity offers the chance to build your leadership career within a growing property operations environment.
