Sommaire du poste Relevant du Directeur des opérations, ce poste joue un rôle clé dans l’optimisation de nos processus manufacturiers et de qualité, ainsi que dans le développement d’une culture d’amélioration continue à l’échelle de l’entreprise. Vous agirez comme agent de changement et partenaire des opérations, en identifiant et en structurant des initiatives visant à améliorer la performance, la qualité et l’efficacité opérationnelle. Vous superviserez également l’équipe qualité et veillerez au respect d’un système de gestion de la qualité. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les équipes de production, d’ingénierie, de maintenance et de planification, ainsi qu’avec les autres départements au besoin, afin d’optimiser les processus, améliorer la qualité, réduire les inefficacités et soutenir les initiatives d’amélioration continue. Responsabilités - Analyser et optimiser les processus opérationnels afin d’identifier les inefficacités, réduire les pertes et améliorer la performance opérationnelle. - Être familier avec les systèmes de gestion de la qualité et en être responsable, notamment pour leur sélection, ainsi que pour assurer leur adoption et leur application rigoureuse. - Optimiser les processus qualité, tels que la gestion des non-conformités (NCR), en s’assurant que les actions préventives s’attaquent aux causes racines afin d’éliminer les risques de récurrence. - Mettre en place et maintenir des stratégies visant à réduire les taux de rejet, tant en production que chez les fournisseurs. - Identifier les goulots d’étranglement dans la production et implanter des solutions durables pour améliorer les flux de travail et la collaboration interservices. - Définir, suivre et analyser les indicateurs de performance opérationnelle afin de soutenir la prise de décision et les priorités d’amélioration. - Développer et maintenir des outils de suivi et des tableaux de bord pour assurer une meilleure visibilité de la performance opérationnelle. - Déployer des initiatives d’amélioration continue (Lean, Kaizen, résolution de problèmes) et coordonner des projets transversaux ayant un impact opérationnel. - Collaborer avec les gestionnaires et les équipes de soutien pour favoriser l’adoption de nouvelles pratiques et renforcer une culture d’amélioration continue. You will act as a change agent and operational partner, identifying and structuring initiatives aimed at improving performance, quality, and operational efficiency. You will oversee the quality team and ensure compliance to a quality management system. You will work closely with the production, engineering, maintenance, and planning teams, as well as other departments as needed, to optimize processes, improve quality ,reduce inefficiencies, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities - Analyze and optimize operational processes to identify inefficiencies, reduce waste, and improve operational performance. - Familiar with quality management systems, being responsible for its selection, ensuring rigorous adoption and adherence. - Optimize quality processes, such as Non-Conformance Reporting (NCRs), ensuring that preventive actions drive at root cause to eliminate their potential for recurrence. - Establish and maintain strategies to reduce reject rates in both production and amongst suppliers - Identify production bottlenecks and implement sustainable solutions to improve workflow and cross-departmental collaboration. - Define, monitor, and analyze operational performance indicators to support decision-making and improvement priorities. - Develop and maintain performance tracking tools and dashboards to ensure better operational visibility. - Deploy continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, problem-solving) and coordinate cross-functional improvement projects with operational impact. - Collaborate with managers and support teams in adopting new practices to strengthen a culture of continuous improvement. Skills and Qualifications Education and Experience - Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Operations or Quality Management, or a related field - 5 to 8 years of experience in continuous improvement or operations optimization - Experience in a manufacturing environment ideally in metal stamping or metal fabrication - Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) - Experience in a quality regulated environment with responsibility for creation and adherence to documented procedures Competencies - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Solid knowledge of Lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools - Solid knowledge of ISO quality standards or similar - Experience managing cross-functional improvement projects - Influential leadership and ability to mobilize teams - Excellent communication and collaboration skills; fluency in French (spoken and written) and intermediate proficiency in English - Experience working in an ERP environment (preferably Profit Key International) Value-added assets: - Work experience in a precision manufacturing environment and proficiency with precision measuring instruments. - Experience in painting processes (powder coating) and their inspection requirements.
