What You'll Own 🎯 Brand Building & Strategy - Lead the development and execution of Geely Auto's brand strategy in Canada, establishing a clear, compelling, and locally resonant brand positioning. - Build and manage a best-in-class ecosystem of local partners — creative and digital agencies, media partners, influencer networks, and event production vendors — ensuring every output reflects Geely Auto's global standards and local relevance. - Conceptualize, plan, and execute brand-defining events and activations that generate excitement and earned media. - Serve as the guardian of brand image and consistency across all Canadian consumer touchpoints. 📊 Marketing Planning & Market Intelligence - Develop and own the annual marketing plan, aligning brand and performance goals with business targets. - Continuously monitor, analyze, and synthesize Canadian automotive market trends, competitive dynamics, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions. - Define target segments and personas across Geely Auto's vehicle portfolio, identifying white space opportunities and tailoring messaging accordingly. - Develop and implement customer loyalty and retention programs that extend the brand relationship well beyond the point of purchase. - Own the marketing budget — allocating resources strategically, tracking spend efficiency, and maintaining rigorous cost discipline. 📱 Digital Marketing & Transformation - Build and lead Geely Auto Canada's digital marketing capability from the ground up — CRM strategy, lead generation, performance marketing, and conversion optimization. - Develop and execute strategies to increase digital-to-physical conversion across the Geely dealer network, turning online interest into showroom visits and vehicle sales. - Create real-time performance dashboards that give visibility into lead volume, quality, and conversion rates at both dealer and national levels. - Conduct ROI analysis by digital channel to continuously optimize media investment. - Champion a "digital transformation" initiative across the Geely dealer network — modernizing business processes, improving digital readiness, and elevating the online customer experience through design thinking methodologies. - Implement marketing automation solutions, including chatbot integration on the Geely Canada website and API-based customer engagement tools (e.g., WhatsApp API for customer surveys and verified business communications). - Lead the planning and launch of an online vehicle purchasing journey, enabling Canadians to research, configure, and purchase Geely vehicles seamlessly from any device. What You Bring - 5+ years of progressive marketing or communications experience in the automotive industry, with a proven track record of building brand presence and driving measurable commercial outcomes. - Deep expertise across both brand marketing (positioning, storytelling, events, media) and performance/digital marketing (CRM, lead generation, SEO/SEM, social, conversion). - Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, marketing automation, and digital analytics tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics, or equivalents). - Experience with dealership/distributor network marketing — you understand how to align OEM-level brand strategy with retailer-level execution. - Strong analytical mindset — you're as comfortable presenting creative brand vision as you are digging into lead funnel data and ROI metrics. - A natural collaborator and influential communicator who thrives in cross-functional, cross-cultural environments. - Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Chinese and French is a significant asset for the Canadian market. - Entrepreneurial spirit — you're energized by ambiguity, ownership, and the opportunity to build something from scratch. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as the business requires.
