Job descriptionOnboarding Specialist HoneyBadger AI – Vancouver, BC Summary HoneyBadger AI is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Onboarding Specialist to ensure new clients successfully adopt and derive value from HoneyBadger AI’s voice agent, Alice. This role is critical in delivering a seamless onboarding experience—from initial signup through activation, system configuration and data refinement, and client retention. You will work cross-functionally with internal teams to optimize onboarding flows, reduce friction, and improve activation metrics. You will be part of a fast-moving product studio, building and scaling cutting-edge AI and SaaS solutions. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on product growth and user experience, while helping shape and refine the onboarding strategy from the ground up. This role is fully onsite, located at our downtown Vancouver office. Key Responsibilities - Guide new clients through onboarding journey, ensuring a smooth transition from signup to active product use - Deliver onboarding sessions (1:1 or group demos) to educate clients and drive early confidence - Understand client goals and tailor onboarding to support their specific use cases - Develop and maintain onboarding resources (guides, videos, FAQs) to support scalable, self-serve experiences - Review and analyze end-user call recordings to identify trends, uncover areas for improvement, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance call quality, performance, and overall user experience - Continuously improve knowledge base and help centre content - Gather user feedback and share actionable insights with the development team - Identify onboarding friction points and recommend improvements to processes and product experience - Support and participate in A/B testing and onboarding experiments to optimize performance - Proactively engage clients showing signs of drop-off to remove blockers and improve adoption Skills & Qualifications - 1–3+ years in Customer Success, Onboarding, or Support (preferably SaaS) - Completion of a bachelor’s degree or higher - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) - Experience working with SaaS platforms (Box, Salesforce, Slack, etc.), and AI tools - Analytical mindset with ability to interpret user behaviour and metrics - Experience collaborating and working cross functionally with multiple teams - Creativity, initiative, curiosity, and resilience - Problem solving skills, high attention to detail and a growth mindset - Proficiency in the MS Office suite and Salesforce - Team player with a can-do attitude - Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; other additional languages are an asset What We Have to Offer - Competitive salary; - Competitive benefits package including Medical & Dental coverage; - Benefits including: weekly catered lunches, health & wellness perks, fun team events, and daily healthy snacks.
