In a dynamic, fast-paced environment within manufacturing, our client is seeking a dedicated HR Manager to oversee the delivery of comprehensive programs and services across various locations. This role encompasses a range of responsibilities, including labor and employee relations, recruitment, learning & development, compensation, performance management, and more. Responsibilities: - Provide leadership, ensuring employees have the tools and environment for success. - Foster positive relationships across departments, emphasizing Lean and continuous improvement. - Develop a solid understanding of our products and collaborate with people leaders for effective relations. - Manage recruitment, selection, and retention processes. - Stay updated on employment-related codes, acts, and regulations. - Oversee collective agreement administration and represent the company in grievance processes. - Lead initiatives to improve relations between management and union. - Support an engaging employment strategy and coordinate training programs. - Lead the ability management program and promote health & wellness. - Contribute to HR metrics reporting and technology utilization. - Collaborate with the Leadership Team for effective implementation of HR initiatives. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. - CPHR Designation or working towards completion. - SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP designation is considered an asset. - Minimum of 7 years in Human Resources. - Minimum of 5 years in Labour Relations. - Experience in a unionized environment. - Comprehensive understanding of employment standards and human rights legislation. - Strong understanding of HR practices and applicable collective agreements. - Experience in a highly autonomous role with broad People-function responsibilities. - Experience in the Manufacturing Industry is an asset.
