What Will You Do? You will use your creativity, passion, and knowledge of experience design, branding, and modern UI/UX practices to develop leading‑edge experiences for highly engaged Football Club fans. With a focus on designing elegant, intuitive experiences across consumer‑facing marketplaces and creator tools, you will work closely with the experience design team, game design, and our partners to create experiences that surprise, delight, and inspire millions of players around the world to play.

Your Role

Create designs for features to deliver all phases of production from concept to completion with a balance of interaction clarity, system understanding, and visual polish (e.g. layouts, information organization, typography, color theory).

Create well‑crafted, high‑fidelity compositions aligned with product experience goals, usability, accessibility standards, and brand guidelines.

Leverage established FC Design System and Visual Identity when crafting visual and interactive solutions.

Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships across disciplines such as Game Design, production and engineering to help further develop the game experience and visual language.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate, rationalize, and empathize with user needs effectively.

Find opportunities to improve implementation standards, innovation of experiences and collaborative workflows.

Be a mentor and foster a culture of growth and education within the XD team while being a champion for UX UI within the organization.

What We Are Looking For

6+ years of experience as a UI designer, interaction designer, product designer, or similar role.

Strong portfolio demonstrating systems thinking, user‑centered problem solving, and data‑informed decision‑making, paired with strong design instincts.

Strong Expertise in layout systems, information architecture, typography, and a deep understanding of user behaviors and interaction patterns.

Visual design expertise, including visual brand identity expression, layout, composition, iconography, and typography.

Proficient in Figma, Adobe Suite, and prototyping software.

Advocate for players through strong UX rationale grounded in research, usability findings, and player feedback.

Proactive, outcome‑oriented, and solution‑driven.

You inspire optimism and positivity within your team and thrive in collaborative environments that value the exchange of ideas and concepts.

Empathetic and collaborative team player.

Passion for playing games.

Nice to Have

Experience with working and implementing designs into game engines like Unreal or proprietary engines.

Design skills such as iconography and typography.

Experience with game design.

Knowledge of Football.

Pay Transparency - North America Compensation And Benefits The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES

British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$100,000 - $139,500 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.

For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top‑up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental / adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full‑time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
