Gold Candle Ltd. recrute actuellement pour le poste suivant afin de joindre notre équipe de projet. Conseiller·ère en relations communautaires Gold Candle est une compagnie d'exploration canadienne financée par des fonds privés qui fait avancer une ressource de plusieurs millions d'onces d’or à l'historique mine Kerr-Addison dans le canton de McGarry, dans le nord de l'Ontario. Depuis 2015, Gold Candle a foré plus de 130 000 m sur la propriété et a une position substantielle de 6 km le long de la faille de Cadillac Larder Lake. En 2025, Gold Candle a publié une estimation de ressources minérales combinées à ciel ouvert et souterraines de plusieurs millions d'onces d’or, ainsi qu'une ressource initiale sur le gisement de nickel Geminid récemment découvert. De plus, avec notre expansion récente au Québec, Gold Candle bénéficie de 20,000 hectares supplémentaires de propriétés minières le long de la faille de Cadillac Larder Lake. Le ou la Conseiller·ère en relations communautaires – Québec agira à titre de point de liaison entre Gold Candle, les communautés autochtones et les parties prenantes du Québec, conformément à la stratégie de relations communautaires de l’entreprise. Responsabilités principales - Contribuer à l’élaboration et à la mise en oeuvre des priorités stratégiques de mobilisation des parties prenantes de Gold Candle, ainsi qu’aux plans d’action connexes - Fournir un leadership et un soutien dans le cadre des activités de consultation de Gold Candle auprès des communautés autochtones concernées - Agir comme personne-ressource en relations communautaires entre Gold Candle et les parties prenantes du Québec - Offrir un soutien et assurer la coordination des activités de consultation liées aux besoins opérationnels, notamment les processus d’autorisation et de permis - Veiller à ce que les politiques et programmes de relations communautaires soient conformes à la législation québécoise et alignés sur les meilleures pratiques de l’industrie - Mettre à profit l’expérience et les données afin d’identifier des occasions d’amélioration et de mettre en place des indicateurs permettant d’en mesurer l’efficacité - Documenter et maintenir des dossiers numériques détaillés des activités de mobilisation et de consultation - Préparer des sommaires de participation et de mobilisation à la suite de rencontres et d’événements - Recommander, coordonner et participer à des rencontres et événements favorisant la visibilité de Gold Candle à titre de partenaire communautaire engagé, collaboratif et respectueux - Agir comme point de contact auprès des communautés et répondre aux demandes conformément aux protocoles de communication établis - Soutenir la mise en oeuvre des engagements pris auprès des parties prenantes et des communautés autochtones concernées - Identifier les risques potentiels, les communiquer à l’équipe et recommander des mesures d’atténuation - Appuyer la diffusion de différents outils et documents de communication - Veiller à ce que les communications et documents de l’entreprise soient disponibles en français - Accomplir toute autre tâche connexe, selon les besoins Exigences - Diplôme universitaire en sciences sociales, en communications ou dans un domaine connexe - Une combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience pourra être prise en considération - Bilinguisme requis : maîtrise du français et anglais de niveau professionnel - Minimum de trois (3) ans d’expérience pertinente - Une expérience dans le secteur des ressources naturelles ou de l’industrie minière constitue un atout - Excellentes habiletés interpersonnelles et capacité à établir des relations de collaboration - Maîtrise des outils de la suite Microsoft Office - Capacité à travailler de façon autonome dans un environnement de petite entreprise, à gérer plusieurs responsabilités simultanément et à évoluer dans un contexte de changement Horaire et environnement de travail Le poste est offert selon un horaire de type 4-3. Le travail s’effectuera principalement à distance, avec des déplacements fréquents sur le site et auprès des parties prenantes, selon les besoins. Community Relations Advisor-Quebec. Date Posted: May 1, 2026; Closing Date: Until filled Role Summary: Reporting to the People and Community Relations Manager, you will be part of the Community Relations Department. The Community Relations Advisor-Quebec will be responsible for serving as a liaison between Gold Candle, Indigenous Peoples and our Quebec stakeholders in accordance with the Company’s established community relations strategy. Primary Responsibilities: - Support the development and implementation of Gold Candle’s stakeholder engagement strategic priorities and corresponding action plans - Provide leadership and support in Gold Candle’s consultation activities with identified Indigenous Communities and Organizations (“ICO’s”) - Serve as the community relations liaison between Gold Candle and our Quebec Stakeholders - Provide consultation support and coordination for operational requirements, including permitting processes - Ensure community relations policies and programs are compliant with Quebec legislation and aligned to industry best practices. - Use experience and data to identify improvement opportunities and implement metrics to measure effectiveness - Document and maintain detailed digital record of engagement and consultation activities - Prepare engagement summaries for meetings and participation events - Recommend, coordinate and participate in meetings and events that enhance Gold Candle’s visibility as an active, collaborative, and respectful community participant. - Serve as a point of contact for the community and respond to inquiries in accordance with established communication protocols - Support implementation of commitments with - stakeholders and ICO’s - Identify and communicate to the team any potential risks and recommended mitigation measures - Assist in the distribution of various communication materials - Ensure company communications and materials are translated into French - Perform other duties, as required Requirements: University Degree in social sciences, communications or other related field of study - An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered - Bilingualism required: fluent French and professional-level English - Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience - Experience in natural resources or the mining industry is an asset - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships - Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Ability to work independently in a small company environment, balancing multiple responsibilities and comfortable with change management Schedule/Working Environment: Following a 4/3 schedule, this role will primarily be performed remotely with frequent travel to site and various stakeholder locations, as required.
