Job description
Drive the engineering and management of municipal capital projects. Execute roles focused on quality, budget, and stakeholder collaboration in a full-time capacity.

In this Municipal Capital Projects Manager position, you will oversee the planning and execution of various facility upgrades and engineering projects within a municipal framework. Key responsibilities include managing project budgets, designs, and schedules while ensuring regulatory compliance and effective communication with diverse stakeholders. Your leadership will influence the successful delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities: • Oversee projects from initiation through to successful completion • Conduct design reviews and ensure proper project compliance • Coordinate with City staff, contractors, and the public • Manage project budgets and monitor financial performance • Support continuous improvement of engineering practices

Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required • APEGA Professional Engineer registration preferred • Minimum seven years of experience in project management • Expertise in municipal infrastructure and construction methods • Strong ability to work collaboratively under tight deadlines
