Our dedicated team ensures projects are completed on time, safely, and with precision, adhering to rigorous QAQC processes from start to finish. Role Description This part-time hybrid role, based in Langley, BC, offers flexibility with a combination of in-office and remote work. As a Safety Support Specialist / Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the company’s safety policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include conducting or coordinating safety training, supporting the development of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols, investigating workplace incidents, and identifying opportunities for improving occupational health and safety standards. You will work closely with the management team to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. Qualifications - Strong knowledge and experience in Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Occupational Health standards - Proficiency in executing Safety Training sessions and designing effective safety procedures - Experience in Accident Investigation, including root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams - Ability to analyze data, create reports, and recommend safety improvements - Certifications such as Occupational Health and Safety certification or equivalent are an asset - Familiarity with applicable local, provincial, and national safety regulations
