Job Description
We're building robots faster than ever—and quality is critical to keeping up. As a Quality Analyst, you'll play a hands-on role in ensuring OTTO robots are built with components that meet exact specifications and perform reliably in real-world environments. You'll inspect incoming, in-process, and finished parts; analyze quality issues across mechanical and electrical assemblies; and partner closely with manufacturing and engineering to drive effective resolutions. You'll be part of a Quality team that helps ensure our robots are built to handle some of the world's dullest, dirtiest, and deadliest jobs—safely and consistently for years to come.
You'll work on-site and report to the Quality Manager.
Your Responsibilities:
- Quality validation of in-process and finished goods.
- Quality inspection of made to spec parts including harnesses, printed circuit board and mechanical assemblies.
- Testing and troubleshooting of electrical harnesses, PCBAs, electrical bays/panels and other components.
- Create Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and document issues learned from your diagnosis.
- Complete process/traceability documentation.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- High School Diploma or GED/CAEC.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future for this job opening.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Typically requires a minimum of 1 year of related experience.
- Experience with manufacturing processes
- Experience with mechanical/electrical defects
- Read mechanical drawings and schematics, identify mechanical/electrical components and determine cause robot test failures
- Experience with cable assembly, PCBA quality standards and common defects
- IPC-7711, IPC-7721, IPC-A-600, IPC-9121, IPC-610, IPC-620 training or equivalent
- Familiarity with Linux
- Familiarity with ISO standards
- Lean manufacturing experience
- 5S methodology

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
For this role, the Base Salary Compensation is from $49,440 - $61,800 with an annual target bonus of 4% of base salary. Actual pay will be based on factors such as skills, knowledge, education, and experience.
