About the opportunity: The position is responsible for understanding and providing data insights, business intelligence and analysis to the Category team. The position will also be participating and assisting in the development of tools that will support strategic decision making with the objective of improving our share of market, share of space and sales. The attributes we are looking for: - Assist Sales Strategy team by ensuring all data platforms/tools have accurate information (Most Up-to-date data, New To Market product etc.) and are answering the needs of users. - Evolving tools as necessary to continuously meet business requirements. - Develop a strong understanding of the competitive world (Marketing Mix, Price, Product, Place, Promotion). - Understand and map which promotional initiatives are innovative, new to market and are driving strong results (sales, ROI, etc.). - Understand, consolidate, and leverage multiple business intelligence tools such as Power BI and customer data portals and outputs. - Develop and track Key Performance Indicators (KPI) through detailed reports and graphical dashboards. What you will bring: - Currently pursuing a post-secondary education in Data Science, Business, or a related field of study - Experience in quantitative applications - Proven analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong orientation towards accuracy, quality and focus on details - Strong team player with track record of collaboration and experience working as part of an agile team - Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills - Proven ability to distill intricate information into easily understandable, visually impactful presentations. - Proficient with standard office computer technology such as Microsoft Outlook, Teams, including advanced proficiency MS Excel and MS PowerPoint - Experience with Power BI is highly valued. - Optional, experience in Big Data, Basic Coding languages knowledge (Python/R) This job description is intended to summarize the overall level of responsibility of the job and is not an exhaustive list of all the duties performed. Compensation: As part of our commitment to fairness, trust, and transparency and our ambition to be an Employer of Choice, the base salary range for this position is $21/h – $27+/h. Please note: Along with a comprehensive Total Rewards package, your actual base salary will be fair, competitive, and be based on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
